Archived HistoryFor all intensive purposes, the Vulpine Imperium has had a long and industrious history, full of political intrigue, interest, wars, fights, diplomatic encounters, and so forth. All the stuff that makes living in an Imperium interesting. To that end, however, the records of all the Vulpine Imperium are quite vast and mind-boggling. Indeed, the archives for all the Ministries hold information dating back all the way to the founding of the Imperium itself, with Emperor Milarkus taking power.
Because of the great host of things that must be archived in the duration of time, the different Ministries divide documents to be archived as appropriate to the portfolio for each respective Ministry (as would be logical). Ironically, however, the Ministries sometimes have to commission agents from other Ministries to do their archiving (which is not quite as logical), if only because the jurisdictions of each of the Ministries sometimes overlap.
In any event, here we have given a basic break-down of what each Ministry archives, and (if applicable), where one would find said archives:
Ministry of Niceties
Ministry of War
Ministry of Commerce
Ministry of Misanthropy
Ministry of Innovation
This, of course, does not include any secure (read: private, secret, "on-a-need-to-know-basis") archived information that is pertinent to each Ministry[1].
Also, seeing as how each Ministry operates (for the most part) separate from each other, each Ministry would keep their own information on such things as:
While these lists are mostly comprehensive, this is not to say that they encompass everything that is archived in the Vulpine Imperium: for instance, the Imperial Palace in Amarone holds its own private archives for the Emperor's private use (this is mostly speculated to include such things as guest arrivals, appointments, and the like), and each individual business in the Vulpine Imperium would hold their own archives (though they would have to submit some information to the Ministry of Commerce for taxes).
Though for more secure (read: secret, private, "on-a-need-to-know-basis") information[1], more trusted individuals of each Ministry would be commissioned to record the information, for the more mundane recording of information, most Ministries hire individuals from The Historian's and Archivist's Guild.
[1] This is not to say that such information even exists: all Ministries can neither confirm nor deny the existence of such information, be it affiliated with their own Ministry or another.
